Bought this for my fiancé. Works pretty well, he did state that it is hard to straighten and use the comb at the same time to prevent him from burning his self, However I believe that is something that will get better with practice. It does only have 2 heat settings so I think that is something that they could really improve on being as you are using this for facial hair, if it were just for the hair on your head I think only having 2 heat settings would be fine. ALL IN ALL I do think that it was a great purchase!

I have owned this straightener for 4 months. I did not begin to use it daily until about 2 months ago. Over the past two weeks, each day, one of the combs teeth would break off into my beard as i was combing. It seems as though the materials can not stand up to the heating element over the long term and now the teeth are brittle and breaking off. This means I’m now left with burns instead of a straight beard. The comb did work well when new, hence the two stars. The issue is however that the item is built to break down just as you are no longer able to return it. Be warned.

May work well with wavy beard, but definitely not a curly beard like mine!

Unfortunately I didn't get to try this product, because the comb portion had what looks like a smear of beard product and black beard hair. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Works great. I love this thing. I use beard oil and then straighten, keeps from burning your hair. Sleep on it over night and balm in the morning

So my beard is an alright length, 3 inches or so per hair. instead of straightening my beard, it dries out the hairs and makes them stand up. for this to be effective, you need a LONGGGG beard, longer than 3-5 inches long. Otherwise, its good.

Did not work well for me. Got hot quickly but it didn't really get the curl or waves out of my beard. Burned my finger while trying to use it and my lip. I get much better results with a comb and blow dryer. I returned it.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my husband and he loves it!!! He was looking at $100 straighter from a beard shop, this has been comparable in quality, it doesn’t damage his beard with overheating and heats quickly.
