Editing my review due to new developments... Below you can see my initial review (I gave it 5 stars) and I still like this cup BUT about 8-10 months later (not sure exactly when it started) the inside of the cup got covered with rust!! For a long time I though this color was coffee and tea stains until I started noticing the taste of it! So gross and disturbing!!! who knows how long I've been drinking rust... :(My previews review:I have this cup for over 4 months now, and I use it every single day, so I feel its safe to declare it is perfect! (for my needs).1. It keeps drinks HOT for hours! Never cease to surprise me. I actually need to add some cool water to my tea, otherwise I would have to wait for 2-3 hours before I can drink it! Also, keeps drinks COOL for even longer! I leave my cold coffee in the car that's parked outside in the sun and basically becomes an oven. I come back after 3 hours and the drink is exactly as I left it! Amazing!2. The lid is not spill proof because it has an opening for drinking, but it's very tightly sealed, and even when I dropped the cup a few times on my desk, spillage was minimal. I cary it from the car to the office desk so the lid is perfect for my needs. Also easy to clean, the silicon comes off and back on easily. Very smartly designed.3. The sipping opening feels nice to drink from and good size.4. The straight sides makes it easy to grip (did I mention smart design?)5. I never get any smell lingering or after taste, which I'm very sensitive to.* I don't drink any sugar or dairy so I guess if you do you might get other results with cleaning and aftertaste, but I would bet you will have no issues.

At first I really loved this cup. I still do love the inside, which keeps my ice in my water cold all night long. However, I got this 40 days ago and the bottom rubber is coming off. May be a dud but hoping the customer service for Corcksikle is good enough to send me a new one.

Omg. I cannot believe I bought this and paid this much for a container that is not spill proof. Should of returned it. But I had received it then left over seas and just now trying to use it and so many accident with it. Turned over on desk and it spilled out my contents on to key board! Then had it on table and turned over and got papers wet!. Even at an angle as I was trying to open door and placed it in the crook of my elbow and it tipped and leaked onto my clothing.. I purchased this as I thought review were good for what I needed. As security at work updated and all containers had to be clear or at least clear lid to see contents. I had always used a Stanley container which was awesome kept very cold minimal ice meltage and completely leak and spill proof. However could not find clear lid for it. I will now have to find another container to meet my expectation. Looking at yeti. Sorry. Not happy.

I seriously LOVE this tumbler. I bought the Corkcicle canteen last year, and was so impressed with it that I decided to buy my Mom a canteen for Christmas, and added a tumbler when I saw one in a matching color. She loved hers so much that she bought my brother and sister-in-law Corkcicle tumblers, which convinced me to buy my own. I use it all day, every day! So far, I've only used it with hot drinks (it IS winter, still), and it will maintain temperature for hours. With the lid on, I've never had a drink cool down past a few degrees from the time that I poured it into the tumbler until the time that I finished it. The downside to that is that you have to be VERY careful to not put drinks in at too high a temperature to start with. I made some herbal tea a few weeks ago for a three hour drive to San Francisco, and by the time that I got to the city, I still couldn't drink the tea, as it was too hot! The only thing I don't like about it is that the lid can be difficult to clean. I use mine primarily for coffee and herbal teas, and it's very hard to clean under the sliding vent on the lid. I even tried to order a separate lid (one for coffee, one for other drinks), but couldn't find one on the website. I'm still giving 5 stars, despite this annoying design feature, so that should tell you how awesome this thing is.

I order the Dipped Black but received the Watermelon color instead, hence 4 stars. The cup is truly great at keeping hot things hot and cold things cold. As with most frequent use items in the kitchen, just because it is dishwasher safe doesn't mean that you should use it. Hand washing is best for a insulated cup like this.Also, just a heads up that this cup is too tall to sit on its own under a keurig machine. I didn't pay attention to height dimensions; however, this hasn't stopped us from still using it. Fits in cup holders well.

Not the quality at all I expected for the price. As you can see, the lid does not seal to the mug and there is a gap. I tried hot coffee in this mug and I tried to take a sip and it leaked right away and spilled on my cream colored top and burned my lip. I've used other brands and have never had this problem. Will be returning as I do not want hot coffee spilling on me and my clothes. Disappointed.

Update; after 1 month of use the bottom is chipping. I am very very careful with all my tumbler. Nice design but the quality us poor. Not recommended. So disappointed to think this one is pricey. I had this shipped from The US to Manila just to get this . WAterman is durable than this one. Not recommended!Got aurora tumbler 24 oz. Perfect design classy, big , great for venti frap and cold drinks. Not your usual tumber from hydro, klean kanteed because this one has nice finish w great design. Keeps my coffee warm for 4 hrs. Have not tried cold yet. Fyi lid is not spill proof.
