72505 Celestia II One-Light 122 cm Three-Blade Indoor Ceiling Fan, Brushed Aluminum Finish with Opal Frosted Glass

I bought this a little while ago but have just had it fitted following the completion of some building work. It's in a south facing room, with floor to ceiling glass across the back (so gets the sun all day) and with a vaulted ceiling, and it works very well.It has three fan settings, the first two are virtually silent in operation, with just a feint hum on the high setting - although in reality I can't envisage ever needing it switched up on full throttle. It is also reversible (by means of a switch on the main fan motor housing) to be used in winter to distribute heat. It is operated by a standard light switch on the wall, which basically acts as an isolator, then both the fan and the light are operated by the remote control, which is simple and intuitive to use - it also feels quite robust and like it will last well.The blades are reversible - as in, not the direction of spin, but can be turned over and fitted with either a silver finish or a darker metallic graphite finish, which I think looks quite stylish. The unit itself is a metal brushed finish and looks really nice quality. Even the ceiling rose is a nicely finished piece of cast aluminium. Overall, I'm impressed with the quality of all the components and the fit and finish are all of a high quality.Because of the vaulted ceiling, this installation is on an angled ceiling, so I purchased an extended down-rod top facilitate enough blade clearance. This works fine, and the fan hangs perfectly vertical. I thought the extra length of rod might cause dome vibration or oscillation but it doesn't and the whole unit is absolutely stable. One small thing, but there's a control unit housed inside the mount, and slots in above the mounting bracket. Because of the sloping ceiling in my installation, this was a bit of a fiddly fit, necessitating the removal of some plaster from the ceiling to be able to slot in in, but this is all concealed by the ceiling rose. It's not a problem, just something to be aware of if you're fitting on a vaulted ceiling and was the source of a few muttered expletives until I worked out the solution.The light is a halogen bulb rated at 80w and is non-dimmable. As we tend to use other lights around the room, especially in the evening to create a better ambience this really isn't an issue, but be aware its quite bright and if this is the only light source in your room, then it may be a bit stark.On the whole, a well made, well engineered, high quality product that functions very well.

Just ordered a second bike for another room. Easy to fit although a little bit tight to get all the wires tucked away. The trick with from fans is to move a lot of air slowly, not a small amount air rapidly. For that you need a big blade size. This is an ideal compromise between being too imposing in the room and still being really effective. We use it on the lowest setting which is almost silent. Light is 80w so plenty for most rooms.

I bought this to replace a noisy cheap version after reading the reviews that it was quite. There are major design flaws with this fan which a will come onto later.First impressions was the item felt heavy and well build and I assembled the the unit about 10 minutes, now comes the tricky part? You have to mount the bracket to one edge of your inlet cable because trying to mount the remote unit in the bracket is near impossible if your cable comes in from the centre? This is were the 1st design flaw is as the remote is a very tight fit into the bracket and does not allow any clearance?Once fitted you then then hang the fan unit onto the bracket. As many have said here the remote unit receiver has to be stuck to the ceiling and this should be mounted inside the cover as my old one was and it was the same make receiver as my old one?The next design flaw for me was fitting the cover. I had to slacken this to stop the cable of the remote receiver being damaged and maintaining it in the aperture. You then need an angled head screwdriver to tighten up the screws.The good: this fan is very quite on setting one & two and a little noisier on speed 3, which is expected as its wind noise. We frequently have this on setting 1 and you feel a nice soft gentle breeze.Conclusion: As a major manufacturer, they need to widen the mounting bracket too seat the remote unit and the receiver needs to be mounted inside the cover.

Simple to put together, looks great and is very quiet. It doesn't chuck out masses of air to be fair but its been great in the summer. Looks really modern as well. Note light is very bright and is non-dimmable. Like an old 100W bulb would have been although this has a thin halogen tube so you can't substitute for a lower wattage unfortunately. I really love the fan however and rarely use the light. Note the IR remotes are very expensive if you need more than one, upwards of £40 on Ebay. I therefore bought a 'Broadlink RM Mini3 Smart Home Universal Wifi IR Remote Controller Smart Home for iPhone Android' for £19 off Amazon and it controls the fan as well as the original remote but you can control it from any room just using a smartphone. Brilliant.

Easybto fit, simpe easy to use remote control. Looks really nice in my bedroom, and it works really well too. I generally use it on full power for two or three minutes and turn it off.

This is a good quality product, if I have one criticism it's that as it is in the bedroom there is a slight motor hum whilst running.

Works very well to cool room in summer. Also works in reverse for winter use to keep air moving around. The design looks modern and clean. The light is very bright and even. We use it in a normal height bedroom. This is lower than the recommended install height but it is fine unless you jump up and down a lot.

Haben den Ventilator für unser Schlafzimmer gekauft um in der Nacht ein bisschen Kühlung zu haben. Hatten vorher so Turmventilatoren stehen, aber die sind doch recht laut.Der Deckenventilator ist da echt perfekt - läuft auf Stufe 1 schön leise so dass er nicht stört und macht genau die richtige Durchlüftung um auch bei den jetzigen Temperaturen gut schlafen zu können.Die Fernbedienung kann ich nicht beurteilen, da ich diese gleich gegen eine Sonoff ifan-03 getauscht habe, um den Ventilator direkt ins Smarthome einbinden zu können. Auch das funktioniert perfekt - nur die Aussparung für den Steuerteil ist für einen Sonoff sehr klein - geht zwar rein, darf man sich aber schon anstrengen, wenn da über Kopf montiert wird - aber das sind Luxusprobleme :-)

Molto soddisfatta dell'acquisto: molto silenzioso anche alla massima velocità. Esteticamente piacevole. Illumina bene la stanza. Non oscilla e non vibra.Telecomando intuitivo e semplice da usare. Un po'scomodo l'interruttore per l'inversione delle pale (impostazione estate/inverno) perché si trova sul corpo del ventilatore anziché sul telecomando. Istruzioni per il montaggio anche in italiano. le batterie per il telecomando vanno acquistate a parte. La lampadina è inclusa. Motore garantito 10 anni. Un po'pesante quindi meglio acquistare delle viti più forti rispetto a quelle in dotazione.Il montaggio è risultato molto facile fatta eccezione per l'inserimento della centralina nel suo alloggiamento a causa dei tanti fili e dell'alloggiamento proprio su misura.

Cualquier persona por delicada q sea soporta dormir con el puesto.En velocidad 3 hace vendaval y algo de ruido.Los calurosos de sueño profundo lo pueden soportar bien.Solo el modelo Bendan con sus 5 aspas dá algo mas de aire.Las aspas son de madera prensada (Dm) en 2 colores muy discretos (aluminio y grafito).Al ser 4 aspas permite poner los colores alternos.Lo recomendaria, ya que es un ventilador para muchos años.

De toute façon en général rien à redire sur la livraison.Concernant le produit :Très beau produit, robuste et très lourd (se pose tout seul, même dans mon cas à 4.3m ) la télécommande était pour ma part nécessaire car le ventilateur se trouve en hauteur 4.3m, et tout fonctionne parfaitement. vraiment silencieux, je n'en avais jamais eu avant mais je me faisais une mauvaise image (ringarde ) des ventilateurs de plafond mais le design est sympa, j'attends de le tester pour sa réelle utilisation (descendre la chaleur ) mais vraiment contentJuste un conseil en plus du scotch double face pour le récepteur infra-rouge y apposer un point de colle néoprène car le mien c'est décollé deux jour après alors que j'avais démonté mon échafaudage... au top quoi...Mais sinon vraiment un bon produit
