Just a note!, If your husband/friend is tall (6’) or above it will fit short. If they come in XLT go for it.

It really brings out my shoulders but was more brown than the pic. Still it fits well and looks great. Definitely was in need of a steaming though.

I’m not sure what size man this is for. My husband is 6’1” and about #220. We bought a 2X, which is his regular size. The shirt barely came to his belly button ( sort of struck me as very short shirt), and was not for a large shouldered man…and it’s really not for men who have a long torsos. The material is nice, the stitching is good, and I really like this shirt. Simply too small. Take very good measurements and remember that there is no give in this fabric, superman has more muscular arms? I can’t imagine they’re going to fit in the sleeves. I’ll be returning this.

Let me say that I love this company I have bought their blazers and the quality was great. I was impressed. But..... I bought this shirt in black and was sorely disappointed. It seemed to be sewn in a hurry and fit like a tent, and the sleeves were all flappy. I am returning this product.

I'm not an overly muscular guy, and probably a bit overweight, but other large shirts fit me just a little better than this one does. The fabric isn't terribly soft, but it's not scratchy either but has that cotton/linen feel. What makes this shirt stand out is the sleek design: white stripes adorn the sides, giving it a sophisticated look, and the subtle pleated detail adds a nice touch.If you typically wear Large and have an average build, this shirt will fit you well. It's a good choice for a business casual setting. The only exception, and this is subjective, would be if you're very active and constantly on the move. The restrictions of the shirt's fit might hinder your movements. Those who know they're going to be doing a lot of reaching and moving might want to size up for comfort, but that's entirely optional. I just move around a bunch and feel like I might accidentally rip it as I move. It's probably too strong to easily rip though.Overall, it's a good shirt and would make a good addition to the rotation of shirts I have to wear at work.
