Got this for kid's dorm to place things next to the bed in lieu of a side table. I'm not sure if sturdy enough for heavy books, but should be apple to handle a phone, ipad, and bottle of water.

So, my nine-year-old daughter has this bunk bed, and it's a pain in the neck when she needs something in the middle of the night. Up and down the ladder I go, like some kind of over-the-hill butler. Saw this bedside caddy thing online and figured, why not? It's black, so at least it doesn't look too girly.First off, the thing's pretty sturdy. Metal frame, not some flimsy plastic that'll break in a week. Hangs right over the side of the top bunk, no problem. She can reach her books and whatnot without having to climb down. Definitely saves me some trips.The mesh basket is decent. Holds a good amount of stuff, and you can see what's in it, which is handy. My daughter's got it loaded with her junk – books, that weird slime stuff she's always playing with, a flashlight. Seems to hold up alright.Now, the adjustable strap is a nice touch. Means it'll fit different size bed frames, which is good because who knows what kind of crazy bed she'll want next. Only thing I don't love is that it's a bit of a pain to adjust. Had to fiddle with it for a while to get it right.Overall, though, not a bad purchase. Does what it says it does, and it's built to last. If you've got a kid in a bunk bed, this thing might save you some sanity.

My son has the Kura bed from IKEA and uses it as a bunk bed. Recently he began sleeping on the top bunk and needed something to hold his ipad and water bottle. This little basket is fantastic for that! It was very easy to assemble, and holds quite a few things. The only downside is that it's meant to be adjustable, so the little arms can be challenging to get snug enough so it's level, but overall, if you need something for a bunk or loft bed that is easy and works, this is it!

Very thin mesh metal basket. Mine arrived absolutely crushed. I bent back the best I could to make it usable. I was able to get it assembled and mounted without issue. Comes with the tools and directions needed.This definitely works best on squared materials, round metal not so much.Using to hold some remotes and water bottle for top bunk.For the cost, it should be stronger.

I got this for one of my sons that is on the top bunk. He can keep his books and book light there so that he doesn't roll over on them sleeping and can find them. The bunk bed is made of metal bars so it doesn't fit on our bed the best, but if you just look at your bed before purchasing you can see how it would fit. It was fairly simple to put on the bed and he's put 3 books in it and it seems to hold that just fine.

I got this for my daughter to use in college. It makes a nice place for her to store her phone in the evening when she goes to sleep. It is easy to attach and remove.

Overall looks and feels durable and well made, but the screws for the adjustable arms don't seem secure enough and the arms remain fiddly no matter what.It's quite usable, nevertheless, and adds a convenient bit of bedside storage at a very affordable price for what it is.Easy recommendation.

Well there isn't much to say about this. It does what it's supposed to and looks just like the pictures. Only reason i gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because its slightly cheap feeling but works ok
