Love the look, Love the performance - Great Value for your money!
I purchased this cooler as a backup to keep ice and beverage if we have power outage. That hasn't happened yet but I tested it with only 2 bags of crushed ice and it lasted for 3 days in the heat on my patio. I am sure it will last much longer with big blocks of ice.It is sturdy and the drain plug is easy to operate. I could user a bigger one for more space inside but overall Good value for your money.

Perfect YETI Dupe.
It kept ice for 4 days, with mild melting. Beer and sodas were kept cold with no issues. We bought a net that velcros to inside of lid to keep items cold but out of the ice (veggies) and there was plenty of room. 10/10! A+! Just buy it! Also, we were able to use a small bike lock through the side lock holes to secure it in our overlanding truck bed so noone would steal it. Best design ever!

Is simply amazing and the best cooler I've ever owned
The Canyon Cooler Outfitter 35. Is simply amazing and the best cooler I've ever owned. The hype is not hype but the truth. We just spent 3 days on the California Delta, boat camping and water skiing. Temps each day reached 103-105 degrees.I precooled the Cayon in the house before leaving. We made sure to keep the Canyon in the shade during the day as well.I put 3, 2 quart frozen water bottles, in with our food. We also had a 1/4 small bag of ice that was left over in on top as well. When we left after 3 days off camping in the heat our food was still very cold and each bottle had over 1/2 of the water still frozen in them.I'm thrilled with my purchase and the Canyon Cooler Outfitter. It far exceeded my expectations. I didn't want to spend the money Yeti wants for their product and decided on the Canyon after researching coolers.I really like the design nothing sits outside the surface of the cooler to snag on, a real positive when loading our tournament ski boat. The interior walls are nearly straight offering additional storage space that other coolers don't have.Incredible product. Be sure to precool the interior before using and keep it in the shade, recommended by Canyon to get the best performance.

No Magic Here, Well Maybe a Little
Simply put, the Canyon cooler works as well, and maybe better, than others of it's type. It's advantages are it's design, rectangle with smooth sides, lifetime warranty, and it's price relative to most other rotomolded coolers. I thought it the one to buy and am not disappointed.Update: I took this cooler on a 9 day river trip in late September/ early October on the Green River, Utah.I pre chilled the cooler with a bag of ice, used three 1 gallon water jugs, frozen, for the trip. All my entrees were frozen but I also had fresh vegetables (lettuce, tomatoes, carrots) and luncheon meats and cheeses. On day 9 (take out) There was still substantial ice in the cooler and items in there were as cold as from a refrigerator! A spectacular result and exceeding my expectations.Awesome cooler.

Beyond my expectations
So far I really like this cooler. Holds ice much longer then I was expecting. In the back seat of my work pickup and 4 guys in and out of it throughout the work day and I buy ice on monday morning and have ice still on friday and even on saturday. This is even when a lot of times the guys dont relatch the latches after being in cooler. I use to yell at them but since I still have ice all week long I have chilled out on the latching expectation. We do have a very demanding job so sometimes when the guys run to the cooler and then have to immediately get back on the task at hand which makes the latching not so important to get redone.

Worth every penny
In researching coolers, this cooler claimed to keep ice frozen longer than a comparable Yeti cooler. It isn't cheap, but was more affordable than a comparable Yeti. We camped for 8 days in temperatures that ranged from the 20's to the 80's (F). We started with a block of ice, which never completely melted! I am thrilled with this cooler. It's heavy, but 2 of us can manuever it just fine. I've been tent camping for 40 years and I am a foodie who organizes and prepares ahead. This cooler is bear proof and can lock on two sides with your own padlocks. I bought the extra basket which fits inside nicely for butter, bagged veggies, etc.

WOW, what a GREAT cooler
Keeps ice for 4 days, easily. Make sure to add ice 24 hours BEFORE loading it up and ALWAYS put COLD items in the cooler, NEVER warm soda, etc. Loading WARM foods will eat up nearly 10# of ice just to COOL it down. That is VERY ineffective. We bring this camping and after an entire day of driving frozen food is STILL frozen, even the next day. This cooler will easily keep food fresh for 5 days. WELL worth the price, AND the CANYON brand beat out the YETI brand in the tests I saw on YouTube.

Food stays cold
I'm happy with the cooler; food stays cold. Especially if cooler sits in chest freezer the day before use. We packed it with items from the freezer in order to be able to put it into the freezer while still keeping our stored food frozen. Even without pre-cooling the cooler, it kept food reasonably cold for the two days we needed it in 50-80 F temperatures. Have not tested it to see just how long it works, other reviewers seem to have done a fine job of that. :-)

Defective Out Of The Box
I just received the Canyon 35 cooler and immediately inspected the item. The lid latch on the left side is defective and the lid would not seal due to the latch not closing properly. I am sending it back immediately and will not order another one.
